BGVB Modified Ration Dealer

The Ration Dealers are primarily dealing with ration goods supplied by Government of India at pre- fixed price. Ration Card holders lifting rations on weekly basis also require other grocery items for their daily consumptions. Accordingly, the concept of Modified ration Dealer has been introduced by the Authority to provide better shopping experience for the people/customers. At the same time, the MR dealers are also required to broaden their stock and consumables to cater the needs of their customers. This has resulted in additional fund on the part of the dealer and has provided the bank with opportunity to increase the advance portfolio under MSME (Micro) sector.
