Shri Alok Kumar Goel, took over the charge as Chairman of Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) on 27th March 2024.
Shri Alok Kumar Goel has been in the banking profession spanning over 30 long years starting from 1994 when he joined erstwhile Oriental Bank of Commerce as a Probationary Officer. He is an Engineer from IIT-Kanpur & CAIIB.
During his service career, he has had wide exposure in different facets of banking- Branch Banking, General Administration, Credit Management with speciality in Retail Loans. He has headed Durgapur Branch, Amritsar Regional Office, MSME Hub of Punjab and J&K, Field General Manager-Mumbai & Retail Asset Division of Punjab National Bank.
He has served in Delhi NCR, Punjab, West Bengal & Maharashtra. His working experience is gathered from across Branches, Regional Offices, Hubs and Head Office. Before joining as the Chairman of BGVB on 27th March 2024, he was General Manager heading Retail Asset Division of Punjab National Bank.
He is committed to make BGVB as one of the strongest Banks among the RRBs in all parameters. His belief is “Hum Honge Kamyab”.
